Schuco Glazed Façades
Schueco UK supplies advanced curtain walling systems for use in vertical facades, sloped glazing applications and building integrated photovoltaic facades.
Schueco systems FW 50+ and FW 60+ offer a wide variety of mullion and transom sizes, together with pressure plates and caps for 50 and 60mm widths respectively. Structural glazing system, FW 50+SG, provides optimum solutions for vertical facades. Pyramids and polygons can easily be designed using the FW 60+ system.
The SFC 85 system in the form of a structural glazing variation, can provide high-value architectural solutions. As a result of the opening units being integrated flush with the facade, the fixed lights and opening units appear identical, both outside and inside. The USC 65 unitised facade offers off-site fabrication and shorter site time. All facade systems are thermally insulated and conform to Document L.
Schuco Curtain Walling Systems
All Schueco vent styles are compatible with its curtain walling systems. Roof vents are supplied in a choice of manual or motorised options.
Even unusual architectural designs using high-quality building materials are normally still subject to economical planning and fabrication. Schüco has therefore developed highly flexible unitised façades based on a fully tested modular system and a tested system solution, which include all the required components for fabrication and installation.
Thermally insulated unitised façades can be designed with views from the outside with a framed look or a flush structural glazing look – with high cost efficiency thanks to a high level of prefabrication and attractive design options. In addition, the flexible combination of system building blocks ensures project specific requirements can be easily met.
All the system components, including the fabrication and assembly parts, were tested by renowned testing institutes with regard to optimum functionality and a reduction in design and structural complexity.
